It’s been a busy time for All Together Armley this last few weeks with some of our projects coming to fruition.

Easter Festival.

With over 20 stalls and hundreds of visitors the first Armley Easter Festival proved a great success. The treasure hunt and daisy chalkboards proved popular with the children, while the kids and big kids loved making Pom-Poms with Emma and Susan from Surujoi. Christina introduced massage to St Bart’s and her stress release products had a calming effect on the crowds at her stall.

Armley Mural.

Friday 21st saw the official launch of the Armley Mural. Supported by Leeds Inspired and created by the people of Armley and Modes of Expression the Mural shows the determination of the community to create a brighter and better Armley for everyone.

Swallow Hill Poster in Place.

After many obstacles, the work is underway to transform the front of the former Loony Bin.  The poster designed by a Swallow Hill CC student was organized and funded by All Together Armley. It’s up but it’s a bit small and we are missing a bit on the side, we will be completing the work over the next few months.
